Fall is officially here and we are nearing what’s known as “peak foliage” here in Vermont. That is when the leaves are the most vibrant and the tourists are plentiful. Fall is the busiest time of year for me. As the weather gets cooler, the days get shorter and the countdown to Christmas begins, sales of my felted wool items increase and so does my show schedule.
September was a fantastic month for me. I had a wonderful time at the Mad River Valley Craft fair at the beginning of the month and the Chester Fall Festival at the end of the month. My etsy retail sales were great and I have officially started selling wholesale through etsy. The shops that are carrying my work are listed in the retailers section of this blog.
The rest of the year will be very busy. I have several shows on the schedule and will be sending out extra inventory to “pop-up” shops at a few art centers. And of course, I am gearing up for more online orders as we get closer to the official start of the holiday season!
